Following a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from Nijenrode, Robert held operations and sales positions in the air freight forwarding sector, and spent two years with one of the leading global strategy consulting firms, working clients in the logistics and transportation industry.

After graduating as MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, Robert spent ten years in senior line and staff management positions in various east and western European countries, with different transport and logistics services providers. Responsibilities have always centered on leading strategic change and bringing stability into the organization.

Since 2004, Robert is a full-time consultant and interim manager, working on inter- and multinational assignments whereby his analytical strengths and ability to develop and implement, in close cooperation with the client, creative solutions, are required. In 2006, Robert joined Riverland as senior consultant with a focus on European Supply Chain infrastructure and operations efficiency improvement projects.
