Immediately following university post-graduation in design of logistic management systems, Frits started his career on management level. Initially he was responsible for the daily operations at transportation companies, later he led a reorganization at a big hospital. Subsequently he got invited to several management projects, where his responsibilities reach from leading supply chain projects to controlling warehouse activities (European Distribution Centre) for several clients.

Since 2002 Frits works as an independent logistics consultant on interim base for various companies in the field of logistics, supply chain, production control, management and IT. At several companies Frits reached significant increase in efficiency. On account of his experience Frits became an expert in storage, distribution logistics and production planning. “My work is my passion, even my sport is transport,” adds Frits.

With his wide range of experience, Frits became an expert in analysing situations, develop a (short or long term) planning and implement the changes on each business level. Frits has a no-nonsense mentality, is a direct and clear communicator and always operate with integrity. In 2007 Frits joined Riverland as senior consultant.
