Proud to be different
“We are different from other consultants; we implement tasks and projects on every level of the organization.” With this USP Riverland became a successful management consultants company, which resulted in the opening of a new office in Germany.
On the 8th of October the new office in Offenburg, Germany, official opened its doors. A sign with the Riverland logo is welcoming our guests at the entrance. The managing partner of Germany, Ing. Jochen Schmid, is ready to start. Schmid: “I’m looking forward to welcome our clients at this beautiful office.” During his opening speech Schmid shows some interesting figures about the German consultant market. “We are different from other consultants. Not only we give an advice, but we make an implementation of tasks and projects on every level of the organization with a high and experienced quality. Therefore I’m convinced that we can offer unique services to many German and other international companies.” The Dutch managing partner and founder of Riverland BV Berend Rijnsdorp added some words: “For Riverland, the opening of the German subsidiary is an important milestone in our ambition to serve our clients not just in the Benelux region but also throughout Europe. During the past years, we have already supported a number of German companies with projects and interim assignments in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain. Riverland GmbH, with its team of native German senior associates, will not only be able to serve these clients better, but will also act as a basis to grow our presence in the German speaking market of interim Supply Chain Management.”
All the Dutch senior consultants and interim managers travelled to Offenburg to congratulate the three managing partners with this expansion of their company. Dutch Senior consultant Harald Peetjens: “It’s very nice to cooperate with people from different countries. Our business knowledge is the same, but we have different cultures. Our international growth makes us appropriate to handle cultural issues within a logistic problem very well.”
After the official part in the office all the members of the Riverland team went to a nearby hotel to joy a delicious dinner. We were very honored that we may count Franz-Josef Vogelsang, MBA not only to be one of our guests at the office, but also to accompany us at the dinner. At the end of the evening he moderated an interesting discussion about the relation of Riverland and her clients. Vogelsang: “When companies work with Riverland they get great consultants and experienced managers for the same price. Riverland team-members know that their proposed strategies and actions are doable. They have many years real-life experience and have personally done what they propose. They stay with you when the real work starts and when other consultants leave your company. They implement the proposed action plans.”
